The National Market Traders Federation (NMTF) is working in partnership with Jobcentre Plus to promote youth employment in the markets industry.
Work experience is a voluntary placement for unemployed people aged 18 to 24 years who have little or no experience of the world of work.
A placement can last between 2 to 8 weeks - 16 to 30 hours per week - and jobseekers continue to receive benefits including travel and childcare costs.
Work experience gives young people a chance to contribute to a business, be part of a team and develop new skills.
It could even give jobseekers the inspiration they need to get into market trading as a career!
